Ammunition is the most frequently purchased item for any active shooter, whether you’re training at the range, hunting in season, carrying for personal defense, or topping off your reserves. Defensive handgun and rifle ammunition uses controlled-expansion projectiles like jacketed hollow points (JHP) or bonded soft points designed to perform in soft tissue. Shotgun shells break down by gauge, shot size, and load (birdshot, buckshot, or slug) depending on game or use case.
